When will Interpol, Europol, states and police departments cooperate with survivors of sexual violence and CSAM / Deep Fakes?

This requires a kind of digital platform with simple, free and worldwide (for survivors of sex tourism) access to verification tools – using photographs, sound or video data by survivors for direct AI comparison with the authorities like the International Child Sexual Exploitation database or NCMEC. If evidence is found, criminal proceedings can be initiated faster internationally.

Currently, the bureaucratic and financial hurdles are often too high and complicated for survivors of sexual violence / CSAM - especially for exploited children in the Global South – current structures still protect too many perpetrators. Under the current system, the figures for sexual violence against children continue to rise.

It is also worth considering to what extent adults, in particular, should continue to exercise their right to remain silent in court when brutal violence is committed against children or people with disabilities. Silence protects perpetrators.

This is particularly true in cases of violence against the most vulnerable members of our society. Is there no legal provision requiring adults to take responsibility – to testify and take responsibility – in cases of violence against (non-verbal) children?

If old structures – including legal ones – do obviously not work at all, can the rights of children at least be strengthened in this regard?

A kind of duty to testify instead of silence - to protect children - the future of our society – better? When in doubt put the child first, let the adults testify and then judge.
